Cut to the restaurant.
Pacey runs inside, pushing past various customers trying to reach the exit and see what the commotion is about.
Pacey runs over to Rich’s table, but he’s no longer there. Quickly, he runs back outside.
ANDIE: Pacey…that was your car!
He grabs her by the shoulders.
PACEY: Andie…I need you to listen to me! Take a cab back to the house. Lock the doors, and wait for me to get back! Do not leave the house. Promise me!
She nods. Pacey kisses her forehead.
PACEY: I love you.
Then he takes off, a man on a mission.

Cut to Rich’s office.
Rich is sitting behind his desk, when Pacey barges in, the secretary close behind him.
SECRETARY: I’m sorry, sir. I told him not to…
Rich gets up from his desk.
RICH: It’s ok. Could you give us a moment alone?
She nods, and closes the door.
RICH: Pacey Witter…to what do I owe the…
Pacey grabs him by the collar and slams him against wall.
PACEY: (angrily) You put a BOMB in my car!
He smirks at Pacey.
RICH: That’s a strong accusation.
Pacey grits his teeth in anger.
PACEY: Shut up! You tried to kill me! You murdered that kid!
Rich sighs.
RICH: Yes, I heard about that. So tragic.
Pacey puts up his fist, threatening to hit him.
PACEY: DON’T YOU EVEN CARE?
RICH: Should I? You should calm down, Witter. I mean, who knows what might happen?
Pacey looks at him, horrified. Then he lets him go.
Rich straightens his suit, then sits back behind his desk.
PACEY: (muttering) You’re crazy!
Rich sighs again, sounding disappointed in Pacey.
RICH: You realize that, if you would have just played along, all this could have been avoided. You were doing so well, too.
PACEY: That’s what this is about? You’re holding a grudge for…
RICH: You destroyed my life, Witter. So I will do everything in my power to do the same to yours! Your job, your friends…that cute little blonde I saw you with…
Pure rage appears on Pacey’s face.
PACEY: You stay away from her!
RICH: Or what?
He smiles.
Pacey turns around and starts to walk away. With each step, his expression becomes more and more scared.
Behind him, Rich starts to laugh.

Cut to outside the bar.
Audrey waits in the car as Chris says his final goodbyes to Sharon.
CHRIS: Take care of yourself, ok?
SHARON: You too.
They hug.
SHARON: Oh, and one more thing…you break her heart, and I will personally beat you up.
Chris smirks.
CHRIS: You?
She nods, then laughs.
CHRIS: Say ‘hi’ to the others, will you?
Then he heads back to the car. Sharon goes back into the bar.
AUDREY: Can I ask you a question?
CHRIS: Sure.
AUDREY: Do you think that, if things had been different, you would still be together?
He thinks for a moment.
CHRIS: Maybe in some alternate universe.
They kiss, then drive off.

Cut to Capeside.
Dawson and Joey are standing by a dock downtown. The same one where Dawson had his first dance with Jen.
JOEY: I can’t believe Mr. Gold wasn’t mad.
Dawson laughs.
DAWSON: Well, look at it from his point of view. The wide-eyed kid who needed to use manipulation to get into his film class.
Joey chuckles.
JOEY: Major pride insurge?
DAWSON: Oh yeah.
They kiss.
JOEY: Thank you for this.
Dawson takes her hand.
DAWSON: It was my pleasure. Was I really that much of a jerk back then?
JOEY: No. You were naive…that’s not a crime. Besides, I’m hardly that attractive compared to someone like Jen…
DAWSON: You were beautiful. That I always knew. It just takes more than good looks to catch my eye.
She smiles at him.
JOEY: Well, what does it take then?
He smirks.
DAWSON: Wish I had an answer.
Joey takes his other hand. They start to dance back and forth.
